MAPS of French Army Uniforms from 1789 to the present + Calendar of months card "Calendar of the Months", small English booklet-calendar (unbound): Marcus Ward & Company, London (Belfast), 1884; chromolithography, 12 pages, size 115 x 76 mm; "Designed by Thomas Crane / The Figures by Kate Greenaway"; good condition but small tears on the first month (January) and on the last (December) >> Thomas Crane (1843-1903), British illustrator and art director of Marcus Ward & Co; Kate Greenaway (1846-1901), famous English illustrator. Collectible image series "Transformation des uniformes de l'Armée française de 1789 à nos jours": Baster & Vieillemard (as per ex. of MuCEM), Paris, ca. 1900; chromolithograph, 34 cards, 109 x 69 mm; white backs, except for 3 images: advertisement for Café São Paulo, rue J.-J. Rousseau in Paris; one damaged (edges torn), the rest in satisfactory condition, fresh colors; each card shows two soldiers in uniform, one from the early 19th century, the other from the 1880s-90s; rare set of these images.
