Diameter: 53 mm In a case monogrammed and signed LAURENT GOSTKOWSKI in Geneva. Laurent Gostkowski was born around 1850 in Nice, France. He was the son of Wincenty Gostkowski, partner of Patek Philippes, and Marie-Antoinette de Rabaudy. Father Wincenty (Vincent) Gostkowski (29 March 1807-29 August 1884) was born in Grzymki, Poland, and emigrated to Geneva in the 1830s. He was a lawyer and one of the first financiers and co-owners of the company Patek & Cie. Previously known as Patek, Czapek & Cie. On May 15, 1845, the company was renamed Patek & Cie. after the arrival of Jean-Adrien Philippe. On January 21, 1876 Vincent Gostkowski and his son Laurent founded the family business of Laurent Gostkowski of Geneva.
